Job summary

Axalta Coating Systems in San Antonio, Texas is seeking a Paint Mixer Operator for the second shift. You will operate the onsite paint operation, mix colors, and prepare coatings to support robotic paint systems and production flow.

Responsibilities include safe operation of pumps and scales, daily calibrations, quality checks, and compliance with SOPs. Prior experience with computer-controlled equipment and lean manufacturing is preferred; a high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret SOPs and safety instructions.
• Experience with computer-controlled equipment and production processes.
• Ability to work onsite on a fixed second-shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate paint mixing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily calibrations and quality checks.
• Load and charge tanks from 5 to 50 gallons.
• Maintain housekeeping and adhere to SOPs and safety rules.
• Assist with training and onboarding as needed.
