Johnson Paint, A Ring's End Brand in Waltham, MA is seeking a diligent full-time Assistant Paint Manager to support daily paint-center operations and lead customer service initiatives. You will work closely with the Paint Center Manager to supervise staff, train teammates, and ensure smooth, friendly interactions with contractors, builders and homeowners.

The role emphasizes product knowledge, merchandising, and promotional campaigns to grow sales while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail paint center or similar setting.
• Ability to supervise and train sales staff.
• Strong customer-service and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Paint Center staff and assist Paint Manager in daily operations.
• Schedule staff to ensure proper coverage during peak times.
• Assist customers with product selection and applications; upsell products.
• Coordinate with store leadership to uphold Ring's End service standards.
• Help manage pricing and merchandising per company policies.
• Maintain inventory readiness and assist with ordering as needed.
• Support credit processes and provide market feedback to leadership.
