Job summary

REV is seeking a Paint/Body technician in Pennsylvania to prep, sand, and buff painted vehicles on-site in a safety‑minded shop. You will mask surfaces, seal seams, and apply primer to required areas, ensuring a high‑quality finish.

The role requires up to 1 year of automotive paint prep or body repair experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to operate sanding tools and hand tools. Teamwork, reliability, and OSHA/EPA knowledge are valued; lifting up to 40 lbs and PPE usage are

Qualifications

• 1-year automotive paint prep or body repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Prep, sand, buff painted vehicles.
• Tape and mask off surfaces around areas to be painted.
• Seal body seams with epoxy seam sealer and smooth for final paint.
• Grind and fill with body filler and sand welds, dents and gouges.
• Sand and shape body filler around transitions or body lines.
• Spray primer on areas where body filler was applied.
• Wipe down areas to be painted with grease and wax remover.
• Sand painted surfaces to remove orange peel texture.
• Operate a buffer and buff paint to a proper finish.
• Climb on vehicles and wear fall protection as needed.
• Keep the work area safe and clean to 6S standards.
