Job summary

CSP Innovations OH Payroll Co., LLC is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to advance design, robustness, and control of our paint department processes. You will lead upgrades to equipment, automation, and control panels, and integrate conveyor and robot systems for improved uptime.

The role requires strong PLC skills, experience with Allen-Bradley systems, and the ability to analyze data for production improvements while ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Five+ years engineering/controls experience in manufacturing.
• Automotive or Tier 1 supplier experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Improve the design, robustness, and process control of paint department operations.
• Lead equipment, automation, and control panel upgrades within the paint area.
• Integrate conveyor control systems with paint robots and related automation.
• Improve data acquisition systems to enhance production reporting and downtime tracking.
• Implement safety device upgrades and logic changes to support zone safety systems and regulatory compliance.
