Job summary

CSP is seeking a Paint Engineering Tech in North Baltimore to advance the design, robustness, and control of the paint department. You will lead upgrades to equipment, automation, and control panels, integrating conveyors with paint robots and enhancing data reporting.

The role requires at least five years in a manufacturing environment, with strong PLC skills, blueprints/electrical drawings literacy, and a solid Excel/data-analysis capability to drive continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years of engineering or controls experience in manufacturing.
• Strong PLC programming and Allen-Bradley PLC experience required.
• Experience with paint line automation and safety standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Improve the design, robustness, and process control of paint department operations.
• Lead and support equipment, automation, and control panel upgrades within the paint area.
• Integrate conveyor control systems with paint robots and related automation.
• Improve data acquisition systems for production reporting, downtime tracking, and performance metrics.
