Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is hiring two Medical Assistants for the Pain Management and Spine clinic near the Nampa Medical Center. The MA will support a new physician and APP in a fast-paced, high-volume clinic with a focus on whole-patient care and integrative therapies.

The role includes collecting history, tox screens, patient education, chart prep, referrals, prior authorizations, scheduling, and MyChart communications. On-site clinic in Nampa, ID with a 4-day workweek.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required at hire.
• MA certification required within 90 days of hire from Saint Alphonsus approved agencies.

Responsibilities

• Collect medical history and urine tox screens.
• Provide patient education and chart preparation.
• Review referrals and conduct prior authorizations.
• Schedule procedures and respond to MyChart messages.
• Cross-train with front office staff.
