Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Charleston, SC seeks an experienced Pain Medicine physician to provide direct patient care for veterans with acute and chronic pain.

You will perform interventional procedures, including SCS trials and implants, and lead a multidisciplinary team. Candidates should be board-certified in Pain Medicine with strong leadership experience and familiarity with VHA systems and telehealth pain services.

Qualifications

• Board-certified pain physician with extensive interventional experience.
• Experience with spinal cord stimulation (SCS) trials and implants preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in multidisciplinary clinical settings beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for veterans with acute, chronic, and cancer-related pain.
• Perform and supervise interventional pain procedures with fluoroscopy/ultrasound guidance.
• Lead a multidisciplinary pain management team and contribute to program leadership.
