Job summary

The Hershel "Woody" Williams VA Medical Center in Huntington, WV seeks a Board-certified Pain Management physician to join an interprofessional team delivering comprehensive care to veterans through in-person and telehealth visits.

You will perform evaluations, guide interventional pain procedures under fluoroscopy/ultrasound, manage chronic pain medications, and collaborate with nurses, PAs, and therapists within the Biopsychosocial Pain Care model.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board certification in pain management or related field.
• Full medical license in the United States.
• Experience with interventional pain procedures and chronic pain care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pain evaluations and develop care plans.
• Conduct interventional pain procedures under imaging guidance.
• Manage chronic pain medications and opioid strategies.
• Collaborate with nurses, PAs, and therapists.
• Document in EHR and participate in committees.
