Job summary

Join a thriving Pain Management practice on the Desert Regional Medical Center campus in Palm Springs, CA, supported by Tenet Physician Resources (TPR) and First Choice Physician Partners. This employed role offers a 50/50 mix of clinic and interventional procedures with a strong referral network and hospital privileges.

Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a supportive multidisciplinary team and extensive resources.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pain Management-related field.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pain Management fellowship.
• Fellowship-trained Interventional Pain Management preferred.
• Eligible for California medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Mix of clinic and interventional procedures (about 50/50).
• Manage a personal patient panel with clinic and procedures.
• Collaborate with clinical support staff and hospital teams.
• Participate in academic activities with residents where available.

Position Highlights

• Established and growing Pain Management practice located on the Desert Regional Medical Center campus
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, promoting excellent work-life balance
• Mix of clinic and procedural responsibilities with an approximate 50% clinic / 50% procedure split
• Opportunity to perform a broad range of interventional pain management procedures
• Ambulatory Surgery Center conveniently located on the DRMC campus for efficient procedural access
• Join an established practice alongside an experienced Pain Management physician
• Patient volume averages approximately 30-40 patient encounters per week, varying based on procedural schedule
• Responsible for management and call coverage of your own patient panel
• Strong referral network throughout Desert Care Network and surrounding Coachella Valley communities
