Job Description

Responsible for monitoring patient comfort before, during, and after surgical or medical procedures through the administration of anesthesia and other medications. Administers anesthetics during surgery and adjusts them as needed. Monitors patients' vital signs.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Pain Medicine Physician to work primarily in our Chambersburg, PA practice. Candidates can be board certified/board qualified in Anesthesia, Neurology, or Physiatry.

What You Can Expect At Your Practice
  • Join 4 other Pain providers in a multi-specialty suite shared with Neurosurgery - our collaborative staff is cross-trained
  • 2 to 2.5 days of procedures a week depending on volumes
  • Take call a week at a time, every 5 weeks
  • Cover the Chambersburg clinic, with potential work in Shippensburg and Carlisle, PA. Offices covered by other pain providers in Shippensburg and Waynesboro.

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or Doctor of Medicine (MD) required
  • Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon or Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine upon hire
  • Certification by the American Board of Anesthesiology required
  • Successful completion of an Anesthesiology residency required
