Job summary

Mountain View Pain Center in Denver, CO is hiring a Full-time Medical Assistant for a busy pain management clinic. The role includes administrative and clinical duties, patient vitals, injections under supervision, and records management in a 100% onsite setting at the Lowry/Central Denver clinic.

Requirements include High School diploma or GED, BLS and ACLS certifications, and English/Spanish bilingual ability preferred. Reliable transportation is needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certification program preferred but not required.
• Current BLS certification required; hybrid if not completely in person.
• Current ACLS certification required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Rooms patients according to clinic/provider specifications.
• Prepares charts for clinical patients.
• Performs intake of vital signs and clinical information with proper documentation.
• Assists with prescriptions, work restrictions, and services ordered entry as required by provider.
• Performs injections under provider supervision.
• Enters information into the system per Pain Management protocol.
• Collects and documents UDS as requested and per regulations.
• Completes checklists for Blood Thinners, Procedures and RFAs.
• Cleans and stocks exam rooms; adheres to universal precautions.
• Completes tasks to prepare for the next workday; makes appointment reminder calls.
