Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center in Palm Beach County seeks a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care for an assigned patient group. The RN will plan, direct, and evaluate nursing care with attention to physical, emotional, and spiritual factors, following established standards and documenting care accurately.

Responsibilities include ongoing assessments, individualized care plans, and education for patients, families, and team members.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Florida is required.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• BSN preferred; accredited nursing program graduate.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and evaluate nursing care for an assigned group of patients.
• Maintain holistic care including physical, developmental, emotional, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and functional status.
• Follow established standards, policies and procedures in administering care.
• Perform initial and ongoing assessments to individualize care plans.
• Ensure accurate documentation and proper supplies; operate equipment competently.
• Serve as educator to peers, patients, and families to support service excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
