Job summary

Axis Spine & Pain Center in Macon, GA, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our ambulatory team. You will provide direct and indirect patient care, assess and plan with patients, and coordinate discharge planning.

A GA RN license is required, with BCLS and ACLS preferred; strong communication and teamwork are essential. Join a compassionate, patient-centered practice focused on safe, effective pain management and multidisciplinary collaboration across care teams.

Qualifications

• Georgia RN license required.
• BCLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to plan care and participate in discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Assist in procedures in the Ambulatory Surgery Center as part of the care team.
• Provide direct/indirect patient care via nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation).
• Develop and update nursing care plans with patient/family and interdisciplinary staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and team.
• Document nursing history and vital signs; identify abnormal data and report to physicians.
• Review and implement care plans, involve patient and family in planning, set goals and priorities.
• Support adherence to policies and participate in peer review and CME/licensure requirements.
