Job summary

Axis Spine & Pain Center in Macon, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the ambulatory surgery team. The RN will be integral in planning and delivering direct and indirect patient care, coordinating care plans with patients and interdisciplinary staff, and communicating changes in patient condition with physicians and Nursing leadership.

Preferred candidates hold a Georgia RN license and BCLS certification, with ACLS as a plus.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia.
• BCLS certification is required. ACLS preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate care plans to patients and teammates and to chart information into Electronic Health Records.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care.
• Develop nursing care plans in coordination with patient and interdisciplinary staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians and team.
• Participate in discharge planning.
