Job summary
UChicago Medicine AdventHealth seeks a Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift in Illinois. You will assess patients’ physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors, then tailor care plans and monitor outcomes.
You’ll administer medications per physician orders and educate patients and families to promote understanding. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you’ll ensure high-quality, coordinated care while upholding safety and standards
Qualifications
- RN credential required and CPR certification.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred for advancement.
- Experience in acute care settings is valued.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments across multiple factors for patients.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans with regular reviews.
- Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions per orders.
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care.
