Job summary

The Center for Pain is seeking a dedicated Procedure Room Technician to join our team. You will prepare patients for pain management procedures, set up and assist with epidural injections, nerve blocks, and related trials, and monitor patients throughout procedures.

Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, documentation, infection control, and patient education. We value empathy, clear communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Empathy and patient-centered approach are needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures and explain processes.
• Assist during pain management procedures.
• Set up and maintain procedure room equipment.
• Monitor patients and respond to signs of distress.
• Document procedure details and observations.
• Maintain sterile environment and infection control.
• Provide post-procedure instructions and follow-up information.
• Collaborate with clinicians and staff to ensure smooth patient care.
• Adhere to HIPAA and safety standards.
