Job summary

The Center for Pain in Montgomery, AL is seeking a compassionate Procedure Room Technician to join our care team. You will assist during pain-management procedures, prepare patients, and maintain a sterile, efficient procedure room to support excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include monitoring patients, documenting details, and collaborating with physicians and nurses while upholding HIPAA and safety standards. A High school diploma and BLS certification are required; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in healthcare is a plus.
• Strong communication and empathy.

• Proficient with MS Office and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process.
• Assist during pain management procedures (epidural injections, nerve blocks, trials).
• Set up and maintain procedure room equipment.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to distress.
• Document patient information and procedure details.
• Ensure sterile environment and infection control.
• Provide post-procedure instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff.
• Adhere to HIPAA and safety standards.
• Stay updated on advancements in pain management.
