The position is a 1099 contractor contingent on contract award, requiring board certification/eligibility in Pain Management, active DEA, English fluency, and current medical licensure in the United States.

Qualifications

• Current medical license to practice medicine in any US state, territory, or DC when onsite.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pain Management and opioid prescribing.
• Active DEA certification with expiration date.
• Fluency in English (spoken, reading, writing).
• Active BLS and ACLS training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct admissions including history and physical examinations.
• Evaluate and treat patients, order and interpret diagnostic studies.
• Coordinate care with primary care and other specialists.
• Discuss end-of-life preferences and advance care planning.
• Provide perioperative care and post-discharge instructions.
• Respond to emergencies and lead rapid response when needed.
• Ensure proper hand-offs and test result notifications as per policy.
