Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time

Schedule: 24 to 40 hours weekly

Location: Lancaster, NH

Role: Pain Management Physician

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pain Management Physician to provide office-based pain management services to adult patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with acute and chronic pain conditions using a multimodal approach.

Patient Care & Management:

  • Conduct comprehensive pain evaluations for new and established patients.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating medication management, interventional procedures, and patient education.
  • Provide counseling on pain management strategies and certify eligible patients for medical cannabis use.
  • Monitor medication compliance through Prescription Drug Monitoring Programs (PDMP) and urine drug screening.

Minor Procedures & Interventions:

  • Perform trigger point injections, joint injections, and occipital nerve blocks.

Advanced Interventional Pain Procedures:

  • Administer epidural steroid injections, facet blocks, sacroiliac (SI) joint injections, intercostal blocks, and radiofrequency ablations (including cold ablation).
  • Utilize ultrasound guidance for precise injection techniques.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain thorough and accurate medical records.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay updated on advancements in pain management treatments and technologies.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited Medical College with a Medical Degree.
  • Successful completion of an approved residency by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, the American Osteopathic Association, or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
  • Fellowship trained in Pain Management.
  • Board certified by WMC Medical Staff Bylaws.
  • ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association required.
