An established private practice in the Chesterfield area seeks an interventional pain management physician to join their team. This permanent position offers a unique opportunity to focus solely on fluoroscopy-based injections, with no additional medical management required. You will supervise advanced practice providers while performing a variety of procedures, including epidural steroid injections and nerve blocks. The compensation package is competitive, starting with a 6-month guarantee, followed by a performance-based model. Seeking an interventional pain management physician. Client is open to candidates trained in anesthesiology, PM&R, or neurology residency. Fellowship in interventional pain management is not required. This is a permanent position with working hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. If licensed in Illinois, you can split your time between both locations.
You must be able to perform 25-30 fluoroscopy-based injections daily. You will be the sole physician, supervising APPs, and focusing solely on injections—no other services are required. Procedures include ESIs, face joint therapeutic, medial branch blocks, SI joint, trigger point, intraarticular injections, major joint bursa, genicular block, sympathetic nerve block, PN, and third occipital nerve block. Medical management is not part of this role. The EMR system used is eClinicalWorks.
The compensation package typically starts with a 6-month guarantee, followed by an aggressive model ranging from 40% to 60% of collections based on productivity. Benefits are open for discussion. The practice is an established private entity with locations about 20 miles west of St. Louis in Missouri and 15 miles from St. Louis in Illinois. The St. Louis area has a population of nearly 300,000 and features an international airport.
