Mountain View Pain Center in Denver, CO, is seeking a compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team. Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic pain while collaborating with a supportive team of physicians and providers.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program.
• Current Colorado state licensure or eligibility.
• Experience in pain management, orthopedics, spine, or neurosurgery preferred, but new graduates will be considered.
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and empathy.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• ACLS and BLS required (in person or hybrid).
• Nurse Practitioners must have their DEA upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient assessments including interviews, physical exams, and review of diagnostic imaging.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans, including referrals for conservative therapy or interventional procedures.
• Prescribe medications and manage medication regimens in compliance with practice, state, and federal guidelines.
• Perform and/or assist with in-office procedures including joint injections, nerve blocks, and trigger point injections (training provided as needed).
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Collaborate with supervising physicians and other care providers to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
