Job summary

Advanced Spine and Pain Centers is seeking a certified Nurse Practitioner for our Virginia/ Maryland offices. The NP will perform pain management duties and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include thorough physical exams, reviewing medical history, prescribing and monitoring pain medications, and providing patient education. Virginia and/or Maryland licensure is required; prior pain management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations of patients with pain-related concerns.
• Review patients' medical history.
• Administer and monitor pain management medications per protocols.
• Consult with other providers to determine therapy or treatment plans.
• Provide non-invasive pain management options education.
• Perform joint injections.
• Educate patients on pain management techniques and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Stay updated with pain management research and best practices.
