Advanced Spine and Pain Centers in North Carolina is seeking a certified Nurse Practitioner for our NC offices. Experience in pain management and/or orthopedics is highly desirable. The NP must graduate from an accredited NP program with a current NC license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examination of patients presenting with pain-related concerns.
• Administer and monitor medication management for pain relief, following established guidelines.
• Consult with other providers before deciding on a therapy or treatment program to help patients manage their pain.
• Use knowledge and pain management skills to find effective non-invasive treatment options.
• Perform joint injections.
• Provide patient education on pain management techniques, lifestyle modifications and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and research in pain management through continuous learning.

Nurse Practitioner Requirements: Nurse Practitioner must have graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with current license to practice in the State of North Carolina.

The Pain Management Nurse Practitioner duties include but not limited to:

Reviewing Patient's Medical History

• Conduct thorough physical examination of patients presenting with pain-related concerns;


• Administer and monitor medication management for pain relief, following established protocols and guidelines;


• Consulting with other providers before deciding on a therapy or treatment program to help patients manage their pain;


• Using knowledge and pain management skills to find effective non-invasive treatment options;


• Performing joint injections;
