Job summary

ECU Health Pain in Greenville, NC is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner to join our interventional pain management team. The role offers two days per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) from 7am to 4pm, with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include post-procedural follow-ups, opioid management, developing treatment plans with the interventional physician, and prescribing medications in line with best practices.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted NP license in North Carolina.
• DEA certification with Schedule II–V authority.
• Experience in pain management preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of safe opioid prescribing guidelines and monitoring programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct post-procedural follow-ups to ensure recovery and outcomes.
• Manage opioid prescribing, including assessments and monitoring.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with the interventional pain physician.
• Prescribe medications per clinic protocols; may assist with injections if trained.
