Job summary

Comfort Rehab PA in Cedar Hill, TX is actively seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our pain management and wellness team on a part-time basis. You will conduct patient evaluations, create and adjust individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with chiropractors and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care.

The ideal candidate holds a TX NP license, DEA registration, and experience in pain management or related fields.

Qualifications

• Active TX NP license is required.
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority.
• Experience in pain management, orthopedics, family medicine, urgent care, rehabilitation, or wellness medicine preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and medical assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Manage pain management and wellness patients.
• Perform physical examinations and interpret diagnostic testing.
• Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness.
• Educate patients regarding treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and wellness programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the EMR.
• Collaborate with chiropractors and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in patient follow-up and ongoing care management.
