Job summary

Comfort Rehab is hiring a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our pain management and wellness clinic in Cedar Hill, Texas. This part-time position focuses on patient evaluations, treatment planning, and collaboration with our multidisciplinary team.

Training provided for the right candidate. The ideal NP will hold an Active Texas NP license, possess DEA registration, and bring experience in relevant medical fields.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Nurse Practitioner License.
• DEA Registration and Prescriptive Authority.
• Experience in pain management, orthopedics, family medicine, urgent care, rehabilitation, or wellness medicine preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Proficiency with EMR systems.
• Training provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and medical assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Manage pain management and wellness patients.
• Perform physical examinations and interpret diagnostic testing.
• Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness.
• Educate patients regarding treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and wellness programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the EMR.
• Collaborate with chiropractors and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in patient follow-up and ongoing care management.

• Proficiency with EMR systems
• Experience with joint injections, trigger point injections, or other therapeutic injections is a plus
• Knowledge of peptides is a plus
• Experience with regenerative medicine, weight loss management, or wellness therapies is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
