Henry Ford Health is seeking a Medical Assistant in the Pain Management department in Saint Clair Shores, MI. This full-time, dayshift role includes a $2,000 sign-on bonus and duties ranging from patient intake to assisting with examinations and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have MA training with externship, relevant clinical experience, and proficiency with EPIC EMR, along with BLS-C certification. Join a team focused on compassionate, high-quality patient care.

Qualificações

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with externship (160 hour minimum).
• MA program graduate without externship but with 1 year clinical MA experience in past 5 years.
• Current MA certification with at least 1 year clinical MA experience.
• LPN or EMT/Paramedic with clinical experience in a medical setting.
• Military trained medical personnel with relevant clinical experience.

Responsabilidades

• Escort patient to room and prepare for examination or procedures.
• Record vital signs in the EHR and obtain patient history.
• Prepare for and assist with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Administer and document medications and immunizations as ordered.
• Document care in the EHR and communicate promptly with the care team.
• Respond to emergencies and monitor patient needs via calls or messages.
