Qualifications

• High school diploma and relevant certifications required.
• BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and strong communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, medication lists, and chief complaints.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Assist providers during patient visits and minor office procedures.
• Administer injections and medications within scope of practice.
• Perform EKGs, specimen collection, and other clinical duties as assigned.
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR.
• Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and follow-up appointments.
• Provide patient education regarding medications, procedures, and treatment plans.
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and safety standards.
• Assist with inventory management and supply ordering.
• Collaborate with providers to promote efficient patient flow and quality care.
