Job summary

Jaffe Sports Medicine in Naples, FL is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and advanced practice providers. You will welcome patients, prepare information for visits, assist with appointments, and maintain clean, stocked rooms to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, MA certificate, and CPR/BLS certification. Pain-management exposure and EMR experience are a plus, and two years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certificate of completion of Medical Assistant program required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Experience in pain management or specialty care preferred; new graduates welcome to apply.
• Experience with C-arm fluoroscopy and RFA/SI joint injections preferred.
• Proficiency in EMR systems; eClinicalWorks experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding service and compassionate care to patients as part of the care team.
• Prepare patients and information for provider visits; assist during appointments as instructed.
• Clean, prepare and stock exam rooms and equipment.
• Communicate with patients and other providers about care as instructed by the provider.
• Accurately document visits in the electronic medical record.

Education
