Job summary

CLEAVER MEDICAL GROUP PC in Cumming, GA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Pain Management team. This full-time role focuses on supporting providers and delivering compassionate patient care.

The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced clinical setting. Prior experience in a medical office is preferred, with pain management experience a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Previous experience in a medical office preferred
• Pain management experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate documentation skills
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, organized, and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred

Responsibilities

• Room and prepare patients for provider visits
• Obtain and document patient vital signs and medical history
• Perform urine drug screenings and other clinical testing as directed
• Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures
• Review and update patient medications and medical history
• Pull and organize medical records, imaging, and other relevant patient information
• Accurately document patient information and care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Respond to patient voicemails and assist with clinical follow-up as needed
• Communicate with patients regarding appointments, questions, and care instructions
• Assist with prescription-related requests and provider messages within the scope of the role
• Coordinate with providers and other clinical team members to ensure efficient patient flow
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked clinical environment
• Follow all HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and practice policies
• Provide professional, compassionate, and respectful patient care
• Perform other clinical and administrative duties as needed
