The Hearing Center in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Pain Management PA or APRN for an outpatient practice with no nights or weekends. This established team offers strong support, in-house imaging and labs, and a robust onboarding program.

Expect autonomy managing a robust patient panel in a multi-specialty environment with access to over 60 specialists. Ideal candidates are graduates of PA or APRN programs, Florida-licensed, board-certified, CPR/AHA certified, and ready to join a long-term, durable

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nursing program.
  • Must hold and maintain Board Certification as an APRN or PA.
  • Must be licensed by the State of Florida as an APRN or PA prior to hire.
  • Must hold and maintain CPR/AED certification per AHA.

This role offers the rare opportunity to practice in an outpatient setting with strong support from one of the region’s top Pain Medicine groups and direct access to in-house specialists. No weekends, No inpatient responsibilities, No hospital call.

Schedule
  • Monday – Thursday, Half-Day Friday
  • 8-hour clinic days (no extended hours)

  • Average 25 patient visits per day

Requirements
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Graduate of a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nursing program; New graduates are welcome!
  • Must hold and maintain Board Certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA).
  • Must be licensed by the State of Florida as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) prior to hire and/or transfer into an APP position. Must hold and maintain licensure throughout employment in this position.
  • Must hold and maintain Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) certification, in accordance with American Heart Association.

  • Display customer services skills, strong interpersonal skills, close attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be a person of integrity and character, willing to embrace change and make a positive impact in the lives of patients and co-workers.
  • Ability to work with staff members at all levels of the organization in a cooperative, team-oriented manner.
  • Display computer proficiency (i.e. PC windows and MS Office environment) and ability to quickly learn new applications.
  • Ability to ambulate throughout a multi-story, multi-building facility.
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within specialty medical field.
  • Proficient in use of English language both in written and verbal communication.
  • Must be able to communicate with individuals of varying socio-economic backgrounds.
  • Display ability of giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
  • Professional demeanor and recognition of privacy considerations for patients and families.
