Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas in North Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse with an active NC RN license (or multistate licensure privilege) to join our team. The role emphasizes accurate physical assessment, safe care delivery, and collaboration with the Pharmacy, Nutrition and Therapeutics Committee and Director of Pharmacy.

Required qualifications include graduation from an approved School of Nursing, NC RN license, and at least three years of nursing experience; pain management experience

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing with a current NC RN license.
• Three years nursing experience preferred.
• Pain management experience preferred.
• Certification experience: ACLS recommended.

Responsibilities

• Uses appropriate problem solving approach to plan performance of services.
• Provides services with consideration of the physical, psycho-social, cultural, spiritual and agespecific needs of those served.
• Demonstrates appropriate use of equipment/supplies.
• Uses appropriate safety and infection control measures.
• Teaches/directs/advises/informs others in an appropriate manner under the supervision of the RN/Medical Director.
• Reports/records information legibly and appropriately and correctly.
