Job summary

ECPC Integrative Pain and Spine Institute in Charlotte, NC seeks a Medical Assistant to support clinicians with clinical and administrative tasks. You will check-in patients, assist with procedures, and handle prior authorizations while documenting in the EMR system.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Take vitals.
• Prepare/clean up procedure rooms.
• Assist physicians with procedures.
• Fax notes to other practices.
• Document patient notes in EMR (eClinicalWorks).
• Obtain prior authorizations for procedures.
• Assist with front desk processes when needed.
• Assist with the C-arm.
• Handle difficult situations with professionalism and tact.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
