Kansas Spine & Specialty Hospital in Wichita, KS is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for our Pain Clinic. This role provides advanced nursing care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and care coordination within a multidisciplinary team.

The APP will manage referrals, medications, patient assessments, and education, while maintaining high standards of clinical excellence and regulatory compliance as part of a comprehensive pain management program.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in nursing with specialization in the chosen APRN role.
• Current and valid state nursing license.
• National certification in the specific APRN role.
• Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Standard Schedule: 32 patients facing pain center hours a week + 8 admin hours.
• Manage medication refills.
• Review referrals and input orders.
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses; prescribe medications and order diagnostics.
• Develop individualized care plans and coordinate with other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families on preventive care, wellness, and disease management.
• Stay updated on research and contribute to evidence-based practice.
