Job summary

agnoss Inc. is seeking motivated individuals for Technician Trainee roles. This paid, entry-level training offers hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, systems, networking, cabling and telecom equipment at customer sites across NC, SC and TN.

No prior technician experience is required; training is provided alongside seasoned technicians to learn installation, configuration, troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior technician experience required.
• Interest in technology, IT, networking, electronics or telecommunications.
• Willingness to learn practical technical skills.
• Good problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and procedures.
• Reliable, responsible and professional.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to work at customer locations and outdoors.
• Previous technical coursework or certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in paid hands-on training covering thin-client systems, network equipment, cabling and procedures.
• Assist experienced technicians with installation, setup and maintenance of IT and telecom equipment.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and diagnostics on hardware and networks.
• Support equipment inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Identify issues and communicate findings clearly to the team.
• Maintain service records and inspection reports.
• Follow company procedures and safety requirements at all sites.
• Travel to customer locations in NC, SC and TN as required.
• Work independently while staying part of a larger technical team.
