Cypress-Fairbanks ISD is hosting a Teacher Resident program that lasts a full academic year, with a mentor host teacher guiding you through progressively increasing responsibilities in planning, instruction, and assessment.

The resident will participate in co-planning, co-teaching, and professional development while building classroom management and data-analysis skills with strong support from the district team.

Qualifikationen

• Enrolled at a partner University and accepted into CFISD Teacher Residency.
• Prepared to start residency in Spring 2027.
• GPA 3.0 preferred.
• Strong work ethic, openness to feedback, and willingness to implement next steps.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.

Aufgaben

• Co-plan with HT and team, lead small group instruction, and co-teach with HT.
• Attend professional development days and participate in PLCs and campus meetings.
• Monitor and improve instruction with formative/summative assessments and data analysis.
• Adapt and improve differentiation-ready lesson plans aligned to standards.
• Assist in non-instructional duties as assigned by the HT.
