Job summary

Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. in Alabama invites international-student interns to join Supplier Quality Engineering. You will support supplier industrialization during launches, monitor readiness, and help with KPI reporting.

The program starts January 2027, pays $18/hour, covers visa costs, and includes a $700 housing bonus; housing and benefits reflect MBUSI commitment to learning and hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Data analysis and reporting skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Project management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of quality tools (8D, Fishbone, 5 Why, FMEA).
• Power BI or data visualization experience (preferred).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support supplier industrialization activities during new vehicle launches.
• Monitor supplier readiness and milestone achievement throughout the development process.
• Assist with supplier performance tracking and KPI reporting.
• Participate in supplier risk assessments and follow-up activities.
• Support preparation of management presentations and executive summaries.
• Support development and improvement of digital reporting and dashboard tools.
• Update supplier readiness and project tracking reports.
• Prepare meeting minutes and action item follow-up.
• Support Quality engineers on day to day tasks.
• Support data collection and reporting for management reviews.
• Participate in cross-functional project meetings and workshops.
