Job summary

Burns & Wilcox in Las Vegas offers a 12-week summer internship to develop business acumen, communication, and leadership through hands-on experiences. Qualifications

• Enrolled as an undergraduate at an accredited university, pursuing a degree in Risk Management and Insurance (strongly preferred).
• Expected graduation in December 2027 or May 2028.
• Previous internship experience is preferred.
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Participate in agent marketing calls and attend client meetings.
• Engage in insurance policy renewals.
• Update new business and renewals in Microsoft Excel.
• Determine which program or market best meets the needs of agency clients.
• Communicating loss notices and policy changes.
• Work alongside senior leaders on special projects.
