Job summary

UPMC's Student Nurse Internship (SNI) program offers a hands-on, paid 10-week summer opportunity for UPMC School of Nursing students graduating in August 2027.

You will work with a preceptor at one hospital, participate in educational sessions, and may shadow additional areas while pursuing a nursing career at UPMC.

Applicants must attach resume and nursing transcripts and monitor emails for updates; internships run May–July with orientation in May.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in UPMC's School of Nursing with an expected August 2027 graduation.
• Attendance required at SNI Program Orientation (May 17-21).
• Availability to work throughout the summer with minimal absence.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 strongly preferred.
