Job summary

Qualifications

• Completed at least one year in an ABET-accredited Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Architectural Engineering program.
• Experience or interest in BIM workflow (Autodesk Revit MEP).
• Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam is preferred.
• A third-year student in an accredited engineering program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with a licensed engineer designing structural systems for new construction and/or building renovation projects.
• Attend design team meetings and observe coordination among multi-disciplinary team members.
• Assist a structural engineer with the design and development of construction documents primarily using Revit.
• Visit an active construction site (contingent on local project status).
• Coordinate structural design requirements with architecture and other disciplines.
