Job summary

Excellus BCBS offers a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program designed for undergraduate and graduate students. Interns engage in development workshops, gain exposure to various tracks, and work on meaningful projects under mentor guidance.

Participants may specialize in technical or non-technical areas and attend workshops focused on core business concepts. Housing is not provided; remote work may be possible on a case-by-case basis.

Qualifications

• Major in Computing Sciences/Information Technology or similar.
• Experience with cloud (Azure/AWS) and software development basics.
• Strong communication and ability to work with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support development teams by implementing and testing software enhancements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and code reviews with mentors.
• Contribute to high-quality software solutions and project delivery.
• Create and deliver presentations at internship completion.
