Mercantil Commerce Bank is seeking a Sales Enablement Summer Intern for 2027 in Kansas City. This role blends sales, marketing automation, and data-driven approaches to support large sales teams and drive pipeline growth.

The internship runs 11 weeks from May 18 to July 30, 2027, is paid full-time, and follows a Monday–Friday schedule with hybrid on-site days. Ideal candidates are pursuing finance, marketing, or related fields with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Sales, or related field.
• Sales Certification a plus.
• Previous sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-value prospects using ZoomInfo, Salesforce.com, D&B, LinkedIn, and other tools.
• Fulfill lead generation and qualify opportunities for sales teams.
• Perform basic CRM activities, review dashboards and campaign data with Team Lead.
• Attend sales team meetings, shadow calls, and gather business needs for pipeline growth.
• Support special projects and corporate priority initiatives within Sales Enablement.
• Research current/competitor sales trends and propose content/strategy enhancements.
• Participate in Salesforce.com training modules.
