The Mayo Clinic Health System offers a paid, 11-week Student Nurse Internship in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Nursing students gain hands-on clinical experience through rotations in hospital and clinic settings, mostly on the La Crosse campus with possible travel to Onalaska or Sparta.

Under the supervision of a registered nurse, interns perform delegated direct and indirect patient care tasks taught in academic programs or orientation.
