Job summary

Doe Run Co. is seeking Summer 2027 Mine Engineer Interns to assist with project management, data analysis, and field work at the Brushy Creek Mine in Boss, MO.

This paid internship provides hands-on experience in a real mining operation and helps students apply classroom learning to operational challenges. Offers exposure to safety and environmental policies, collaboration with operations teams, and tasks across multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mine Engineering or related field.
• Preference for completing at least 24 college hours.
• Minimum GPA of 2.2 and minimum age of 18.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work in field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project management tasks, data analysis, and research to support deliverables.
• Collaborate with team members to understand departments and operations.
• Perform field work to support business and operational processes.
• Follow EHS policies and participate in safe, compliant work practices; report issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
