Job summary

The Doe Run Company is offering a paid Summer 2027 Mine Engineer Internship based at the Brushy Creek Mine in Boss, MO. The program provides hands-on experience under SEMO, focusing on project work, data analysis, and field activities.

Interns will support operations, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and complete tasks following strict EHS guidelines. Eligibility requires enrollment in a Mine Engineering program, 18+ years of age, GPA 2.2 or higher, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mine Engineering or a related field.
• Completed at least 24 hours of college coursework preferred.
• Minimum GPA 2.2 and minimum 18 years of age; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project management tasks, data analysis, and research to support project deliverables.
• Collaborate with team members to understand assigned departments and/or operations.
• Field work to support and understand business and overall operational processes.
• Follow EHS policies and procedures; report unsafe acts or conditions and support continuous improvement in EHS performance.
• Other duties as assigned.
