Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) invites current students in architecture or related fields to join our Summer Internship Program. Spend the summer learning from experts across design disciplines and contributing to world-class projects.

Participants will gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino and visualization tools, and will be returning to school in Fall 2027. The program runs June 7, 2027 through August 13, 2027, with compensation based on experience and location.

Qualifications

• Current student in an accredited bachelor's or master's program in architecture or related field, returning Fall 2027.
• Some experience in the architectural profession or related arts.
• Strong design capabilities demonstrated in portfolio.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino and visualization software.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
