Advocate Health’s 7-week Summer Internship Program offers high school students ages 16+ a structured, hands-on learning experience in healthcare. Interns rotate through clinical, administrative, operational, and support functions under supervision, gaining exposure to day-to-day hospital operations and professional development activities.

Participants will engage in educational activities, observational experiences, and projects designed to build foundational workplace and professional skills

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in high school and aged 16+ at start.
• Demonstrated interest in exploring health care careers.
• Computer skills required.

Responsabilités

• Participate in supervised activities across departments to gain exposure to hospital operations.
• Attend professional development and networking events during the internship.
• Complete assigned projects and reflections to build workplace skills.
