Job summary

Manatt Health invites graduate students to join its Summer Consultant Program, a paid, full-time ten-week internship in locations including San Francisco. You will contribute to meaningful health care strategy and policy work while learning from Manatt Health’s nationally recognized consulting team.

You will work on projects for state Medicaid agencies, health plans, academic medical centers, digital health companies, and life sciences firms; participate in mentoring, training, and feedback

Qualifications

• Pursuing an advanced degree with anticipated graduation date in winter 2027/spring 2028.
• Two or more years of relevant work experience.
• Internships or relevant lived experience with interest in health care and market issues.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Modeling skills and ability to develop financial models and conduct data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Work with diverse clients including Medicaid agencies, health plans, academic medical centers, and health systems.
• Tackle substantive issues across payment and delivery system transformation, reform implementation, and pricing strategies.
• Develop high-impact strategies and deliver presentations based on qualitative and quantitative research.
