Job summary

Manatt Health invites a graduate student to join our Summer Consultant Program in Chicago, with a paid ten-week internship that delivers real client work and skill development.

You will collaborate with experts on health care strategy, policy analysis, and data-driven recommendations for diverse clients, including Medicaid agencies and health systems. Travel and full-time commitment expected during the summer.

Qualifications

• The candidate is a graduate student pursuing an advanced degree with a focus on public health, business administration, public policy, health administration, or related field, graduating winter 2027/spring 2028.
• At least two years of relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated interest in health care, health equity, and marketplace trends.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and on teams on meaningful projects.
• Proficient with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; modeling and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop business strategy and policy recommendations for clients.
• Collaborate with diverse clients including Medicaid agencies, health plans, and academic medical centers.
• Address issues like payment and delivery system transformation; policy reform; data strategy; market access and reimbursement strategies.
• Contribute to high-impact strategies and deliver presentations; monitor policy trends.
