Job summary

Excellus offers a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program from June to August for undergraduate and graduate students. Interns participate in development workshops, receive mentorship, and work on meaningful projects across diverse tracks including business, IT, analytics, and more.

Interns will be mentored by managers, gain exposure to corporate environments, and have opportunities to present their work at the program's end.

Qualifications

• Majors include Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar program(s).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word; strong attention to detail.
• Enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program; in good academic standing.

Responsibilities

• Balance and release various check runs.
• Complete root cause analysis for delays/kick outs.
• Assist with the Workday special check run process.
• Handle payments received at the lockbox end to end.
• Enter, research, apply and/or return provider refunds.
• Daily cash forecast reviews.
• Research customer complaints.
• Work with a mentor on key strategic projects and complete assignments.
• Create and deliver presentations at internship completion.
